Islam and the Future of Tolerance is a feature documentary following a conversation between author and neuroscientist Sam Harris and Maajid Nawaz, a former Islamist who became an advocate of liberal reform.

After publicly disagreeing over the question of Islamic reform, Harris and Nawaz reconnect to explore their differences through sustained dialogue. Their discussions examine religious interpretation, political terminology, and the challenge of building understanding across deeply polarized positions.

The film explores how a candid exchange between people with sharply different experiences and perspectives can illuminate difficult public debates.
